Imagine taking a picture of someone’s business card and having all their contact information automatically stored on your phone. The technology is already here and is quickly on the verge of a viral explosion.

Mobile tags are special 2D barcodes used to link offline material to digital media. Mobile users can simply take a picture of the barcodes from their mobile phones using special decoder software and the information is quickly sent to the phone.  2D Barcodes have been around for years and are widely in use today within Asia.
